Our son took guitar lessons twice from Fernie Ruiz, once for acoustic guitar and then for electric guitar. His teaching method is an easier approach to learning the guitar more quickly, enabling his students to be able to play the songs they are interested in fairly quickly. He is very calm, patient and encouraging. I highly recommend anyone interested to take lessons from Mr. Ruiz.

My 8year old daughter started Ukulele lessons with Fernando before the pandemic hit. In July/August 2021, My older 13year old daughter wanted to play the electric guitar and we were able to schedule lessons right away. She learned hand movements, chords, and tools to keep learning how to play on her own time. The lessons get right to point as soon as you walk in, Fernando is ready to teach and pick up from when the last lesson left off. I really enjoyed his patience with young beginners. My daughter was sad he left the area but she has continued to use the tools he taught her. I highly recommend his lessons to anyone.
